Long eucalyptus leaves on the bottom of this image with additional leaves on top surround a Matilija poppy from my garden in this 18” x 24” image on watercolor paper. Pre-printing involved a significant iron mordant. The bundle was steamed and then treated post-printing with metallic copper, bronze, and gold patina. The piece is double matted with black mats and framed in a 24” x 30” gold frame. This piece is currently on display and available for sale at the Wilding Museum of Art and Nature.
