Round leaves overlap one another in this 9” x 12” image on watercolor paper. The combination of an alum and copper mordant added before printing, along with a post-print natural dye wash, turn the leaves a mustard yellow. The green background and the yellow leaves lend this piece an earthy feel. The image is enclosed in a black mat with a black and gold wood frame. The framed piece measures 11” x 14”. This piece is currently on display and available for sale at the Wilding Museum of Art and Nature.
